Frequently asked questions

How is this different from Split PDF?

Extract PDF Pages puts all the pages you pick into a single PDF. Split PDF makes a separate file for each range you enter, such as 1-3, 5. If you need one copy of the document with only the pages you want, use Extract PDF Pages.

Does it change the original file?

No. Extract PDF Pages leaves the original as it is and creates a new PDF with copies of the pages you picked. The page content and size are the same as in the original.

Can I extract pages in a different order?

Extract PDF Pages keeps the pages in the order they have in the original document. To change the order or rotate some pages, drag them into place in Organize PDF Pages.

Is it free?

Yes. Use it free in your web browser, with no sign-up or software to install.

Are my files stored on a server?

No. This tool runs inside your browser, so your file is never sent to a server and never leaves your device.

Which files can I use?

You can add one PDF file at a time.
