Conversions in your browser

Images, PDFs and data files (CSV, JSON and so on) are converted inside your browser, and the original files are never sent to a server.

So that you can download them again from Recent conversions, the converted result, its name, formats, size and time, and a random device identifier are stored on the server and deleted automatically after 24 hours. This history is only saved while the conversion server is running.

Conversions on the server

When a file is converted on the server (documents, video, audio, archives), we store the uploaded file and its result, the file name, formats, size and time, and a random identifier for your device.

This is used only to run the conversion and let you download the result, and it is all deleted automatically after 24 hours. PDF passwords are erased from storage when the conversion starts.

Server conversion is not live yet; when it is, this page will say where the servers are.

Information processed automatically

To prevent abuse, requests are rate-limited by IP address. The IP address is used briefly in memory and never written to a database.

The website host may keep access logs (IP address, browser details, request time) for security and operations under its own policy.

When an unsupported format is dropped in, only its extension (such as .xyz) is counted; the file and its name are not stored.

Browser storage and cookies

We use a random identifier in localStorage so your conversion history shows only on your device, a cookie named lang for your chosen language (one year), and a service worker cache that briefly holds files shared from Android's share menu. You can clear these in your browser settings at any time.

Sharing and processors

We do not sell personal information or share it with third parties.

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (United States), so access data may be processed on servers in the United States.

Your rights

There are no accounts, so nothing is kept that identifies you personally. You can delete a conversion from the history with its Delete button; for any other request, email:
