What is AI Image Upscaler?
The AI image upscaler enlarges small or blurry photos 2x or 4x with an AI model (Swin2SR) while restoring detail. The model runs in your browser and is downloaded once, the first time you use it.
Use it to sharpen old photos, small thumbnails or images that get pixelated when enlarged. Works on images up to about 800×800px, and processing can take tens of seconds depending on your device.
How to use

- Why don't large photos work?
- AI upscaling runs in your browser and uses a lot of memory. For photos larger than about 800×800px, shrink them first with "Resize Image", then upscale.
